Underland - Mick Farren

Tor (2002)

Borderlands Books review by Jude Feldman

The fourth and last in the Renquist Quartet of vampire novels. . . UNDERLAND by Mick Farren (Tor, 1st edition Hardcover, $27.95) In UNDERLAND, the paranormal branch of the National Security Agency enlists the aid (okay, they kidnap him at laser-point) of Victor Renquist, gentleman vampire and master of the Nosferatu colony, along with NSA operative Jack Coulson, and Thyme
Bridewell, a tough-as-nails failed NSA brain-control experiment, to seek out survivors of Hitler's Third Reich, who have set up a secret base in Antarctica with their allies, the Dhrakuh, an ancient race of
sentient reptiles. Whew! It's weird, it's wild, and it's as only Mick Farren could write it.
